the picture-perfect p family

This was definitely one of my favorite shoots from the fall that I couldn’t let skip past the blog! I love this family and they are always super stylish, so I knew Mom would do the usual amount of “healthy obsessing” over wardrobe that only I would do…and maybe some of you:) But if you are like her or me, you KNOW what I’m talking about! The possibilities are endless and then throw in trying to make everyone coordinate, and sometimes its overwhelming. It’s a process and I’d say the end result was WAY worth it. Thank you P family for all the effort and fun you put into this shoot!

Love these moments…and the one of Mr. G and Dad totally makes me fast-forward to wedding day as I picture him prepping his tux:)

Are they not the most gorgeous couple?!

Best. Secret. EVER!!!!!

kissing booth valentine’s mini sessions 2012

Get ready to pucker up with MDP and our exclusive Valentine’s Day mini session event. While the only kisses I really want my kids giving out at this age are made of Hershey’s chocolate, we had so much fun celebrating LOVE and bringing this concept to life with some glitter, a little glue, some big girl red lipstick and last but not least, ADORABLE custom printables made for us by the fabulous TomKat Studio. Be sure to visit their blog and shop and Facebook page for loads of inspiration on many levels – they are definitely one of my favorites!

A limited amount of MDP Kissing Booth Mini Sessions will be held on Sunday, January 27th from 1:30-3:30pm. Sessions will be 20 minutes long and are ideal for up to 2-3 children (no families please). Location is indoors and held in Southlake. The session fee is $125 plus tax and you also have the option to tack on a very special lip-smackin’ offer – 5 digital files for $300 plus tax (a $625 value). This is a HUGE promotion and something I have NEVER offered before! To receive this special offer, you MUST pay for it in full at time of booking. You may inquire for custom Valentine cards, gift prints, wall art and other special products.

Besides the fact that I already owned this special lemonade stand, the concept was also inspired by one of my favorite children’s books called The Kiss Box. It is worth reading and such a sweet little message for moms to their children! The kissing booth was one giant kiss box to me and “the kiss jar” was my creative take on all my love and kisses encapsulated in one place for my kids!

gigi - Such cute kids!!!!! Ready to meet at the kissing booth

Katie - The picture of H absolutely kills me!!! I also love M’s hair. Is it bad that I want to do my hair like a 4 year old?

Auntie Pam - Definitely want my hair like Miss M’s!!
A kiss from Mr.D and Mr.H would be awesome!!

the w family

What a special family this is to me – they are more than clients! It was just like corralling my crew of 3 kiddos, so I was right at home:) I loved all the colors of their wardrobe (coordinating kids outfits by Vintage Couture) plus the golden light that came in for the end of our shoot!

i wish for snow…

Of all the years to have a magical, white Christmas in Grapevine, Texas, I can’t believe 2012 was actually the year… and we missed it! We left early Christmas morning to visit family and missed the snow by just a couple of hours. What luck:) Kind of makes these photos (taken before Christmas) even more special to me although I don’t have pictures of him IN the snow. Mr. D has seen it before but was fascinated all season long with our new snow globe and the song it sings when you wind it up, so he put on his puffy vest and special penguin hat, which are reserved for extra cold, gray days like this one, and he thought if he believed hard enough and shook this globe hard enough, that it would happen. His Christmas wish was perfect….and thanks to our sweet neighbor who texted us a pic of our house, he got to see that his wish came true!

lots of love!

From special mommy/son moments to 18-month milestone pics to sister shots, we crammed in all sorts of goodness in this session! Such a precious family and they ALL have a set of eyelashes you’d kill for!
