I’ve got a confession. I am not a person who reads my camera manual in its entirety in one sitting – GASP!  Everyone thinks photographers should know it like a Bible, but really, who has time for that between managing multiple sessions each month, chasing 2 toddlers, editing, running a household, more editing, trying to meet with clients, placing orders, trying to manage your business, managing a photo blog, managing a family blog, managing Facebook for each, trying to squeeze in a shower here and there (funny but true!), oh, and don’t forget taking time to photograph MY kids, etc., etc???!!! Well I sure don’t! I am also not a person who thrives on the convenience of YouTube videos to teach me the latest trick about my camera or the new tip in Photoshop I need to know. I need a LIVE person in front of me who can listen to MY needs and then give me REAL answers back. That is just one of the beauties of Arlington Camera, my favorite camera shop in town!

If you live in the DFW area, then I must tell you that Arlington Camera is THE BEST!! And even if you don’t live up here, you can still order things online:) People are always asking me about where I buy my stuff or where to go with questions about what camera to buy, so I’m finally taking a moment to share with my blog world that your place should be Arlington Camera! You may have a Wolf Camera closer or may find a cheaper price online, but I PROMISE that none of that will compare to the customer service and quality of Arlington Camera. Even if you walk out with nothing, they are still willing and ready to spend an hour with you talking cameras. This is where I personally buy my gear and this is the place that I have gone to ask the 20 million questions I’ve dreamed up about photography. They also have a great website full of products and good information, including Photo Tips, so I was honored when Melanie approached me with the opportunity to get involved for their January e-newsletter, which blasts to 9,000 people!
