check out some of my favorite details from a “beach boy” baby shower i helped throw for my good friend, amber. some of you may know her better as one of the brains behind MOD!
we had a blast creating our own tropical backyard retreat for her with tiki torches, floating LED candles in the pool, votives lining the pool, paper lanterns, umbrellas, you name it! the inspiration for the whole event was this authentic surfboard my friend michelle had laying around her house. if you look close, you can see we actually dumped real sand on the table:) the best part is that the only thing we had to buy for this party to come to life was the fresh tropical flowers – everything else we had laying around!! i love it when things come together like this! cupcakes were to die for and made by magnolia bakery in lewisville. yummy icing (and i am not always an icing person!)
