meet my newest prop, bluebell, the carousel horse. my kids helped name her as i like to do with all my props:) i couldn’t wait to take her out and bring her to life, and this random field of sunflowers one evening with my “little assistant” alongside was the perfect combo! i love all of the expressions a fun ride on a pony will bring out of children, and i love my sweet girl more than ever who braved the heat and bugs and sticky sunflowers to come be my muse and also help out with another shoot that night. for the record, we scouted locations together and she is the one who said “mommy, the sunflowers will be the prettiest spot!”
