the accent purple gingham flower on the chest was inspired by one of my little miss poppy blooms, and i was able to help cici and ryann bring this to life for their purple orchid collection. i played a very small part, but it was fun from the sidelines to brainstorm with karen, go through fabric swatches, see patterns and ideas all over the floor, and watch their line take off! i have enjoyed getting to know them and i wish them all the best. i know miss m LOVES her purplicious outfit and says in her sweet raspy 3 year old voice, This outfit is so. cool:))
and as a mom, the white lacy legs are my favorite. they go with soooo many things in her closet and add such spunk to her outfits. they have a few different styles, so be sure to visit their website (ps this outfit is almost sold out! only 8 dresses left). you can buy online and also find them at children’s boutiques like ella bella or let’s pretend in the grapevine/southlake area.
i spied this location on a road trip awhile back and was waiting for a good excuse to use it. i was so excited about the shoot and go figure, it decided to downpour for 2 days during the only opportunity i had to shoot miss m here. we got creative…and big time props to my little princess for not only cooperating with mommy’s vision, but also for keeping her white lacy legs clean of the mud!! i could not believe it – especially if you know my girl:)
