only a couple weeks late in getting these posted! this was your first “official” photo shoot with mommy. i was dying to get my hands on you before this but just not in the cards between my recovery and setting into life with 3 kiddos. daddy played assistant and we waited for your first roadtrip and visit out to the ranch – i think he wanted to kill me by the time we were done – LOL!
this first month with you in our life flew by! you quickly stole our hearts and it’s already hard to picture life before you. you’d never guess from these photos since you’re super alert, but you still sleep a ton….especially on my chest. i am breaking all my rules with you:) you have discovered ceiling fans, one of your favorite pastimes…and also your papa g, as captured in the smile sequence below. he has a magical way of making you laugh and smile like this every time and i love that!
i’m not entirely sure what you weighed at this point – i know this scale is not quite calibrated and my basket weighs 1-1.5 lbs, so by the looks of it, i am guessing you are about 11 lbs now – a considerable jump from your birthweight of 8 lbs, 13 oz!
