i’m still in disbelief that my mr.d is 4 years old!! i love this age but it’s proof that time is flying by too fast. my sweet dylan is the inspiration behind so much of what i do and so even though i’m at the end of this pregnancy and want nothing more than to “coast,” i just had to go all out for my sweet boy. “the farm” (aka my grandparents’ ranch) is his very favorite place of all. he loves it more than anything and i just knew this was the perfect place for his party. sure, it is 3 hours away, and sure, it was inconvenient, but it was beyond worth it for my little love.

we had a giant family blow-out complete with 2 bounce houses and a full concession stand of cotton candy (above is literally his first taste ever!!!), popcorn, snow cones (and yes, even a margarita machine) thanks to the hook-up of uncle jason with bounce around austin! dylan’s 2 requests were cupcakes and balloons but the bounce houses ended up taking the trophy for favorite part of the whole day.
this blue ribbon birthday bash was our very own country fair for dylan complete with a hayride, washers and horseshoes and HOURS of bouncing!! the food and family were overflowing, and it was truly a wonderful time despite the insanely crazy wind. we tried and tried to anchor down platters and photos and all of my crazy details but the wind was out of control. sorry folks, no perfectly styled dessert table shot. i still managed to capture more photos than i know what to do with, so enjoy.
and last but not least, jill of stamped paper company pulled through for me again! she is the one who hears my visions and brings them to life on paper…and makes them even better:) i will never quit raving about her. she is the talent behind all of the party printables and the ah-dorable invitation featured towards the bottom.

and a family pic (thanks to my sister) at the end of the day when no one wanted to cooperate and the kiddos were all red-cheeked and worn out, but i still love it since these opportunties are few and far between…

i love you baby boy and i had so much fun planning this party for you! many thanks to all of the helping hands who contributed to making this a success!!
