little miss poppy & two monkeys designs – photographer love!!

this is such an exiting post to get to write because 2 of my very favorite photographers’ work is featured below and they feature little miss poppy flowers!! what an exciting honor.  i am like a kid at christmas, just oogling over these and feeling so giddy that karen from two monkeys designs selected some LMP goods to help bring some of her latest designs to life!

if you haven’t heard of two monkeys designs, you simply must check them out. they offer children’s clothing and their website is here and etsy shop is here. if you are in grapevine, “beyond the red door” on main street also carries her line. karen is the designer and she is fun and fabulous at what she does….and i have a client to thank for introducing us!

the first image below is by angie monson of simplicity photography. she might not know it but angie is my idol:) i tell my husband that one day we WILL be traveling to utah just for her to phtoograph our family. i tell him it is a dream mother’s day or birthday gift. that is how much i adore her work and her style and i seriously think everything she touches turns to gold! hope i’m not scaring you angie if you are reading this:) this is her daughter chloe who i happen to think would be great friends with my mr. d and miss m. she is wearing a custom couture LMP flower below.

the next series below that i equally adore are from the talented jael deyoung photography, who is a local DFW photographer. the crazy thing is that i discovered jael’s work before i was even a photographer, fell in love with it and bookmarked her page ever since. now our paths have crossed through karen and i look forward to meeting her! i love the light and colors she captures in her shoots, and i especially love the little soda pop bottles and orchard props she worked into these images. below, karen paired the LMP “yellow brick road” and “think pink” blooms together for the first model – love this combo! the red head model is wearing the LMP “blue moon” bloom.
